Some
students and lecturers told me before that the forum has now been infested by
unscrupulous Tuition providers and lecturers saying bad things about other
lecturers. This is their way of marketing so that student won’t sign up with
the other lecturers. I know that not all Tuition providers and lecturers are
that nasty and dirty. At least I hope they aren’t.
I
felt that my students should hear the real story and that is why I am writing
this article. When I told my wife that I want to defend myself, she advised me
not to enter the dark alley (Low Yat Forum) all these people have waiting for many
years and the minute you appear, they are sure going to MURDER you. You are in
the open (because I would never ever use a dupe account) and they are in the
dark. I would stand no chance with them. Why not I just defend from my blog, at
least if they leave nasty remark at your blog you can find out who they are.
So
that is just what I am going to do. I always believe the truth shall prevail
and I am going to answer those comment together with evidence to substantiate
my claim.

Since you have been teaching for so many years, you might face this before and tough enough to face this so called 'idiotic' comments. It's extremely bad to talk something bad to someone. Maybe those people who leave these comments are manipulated by someone else,as what you have mentioned before.
So, here, I'm not going to console because I think you can recover, in fact, you have already recovered. Frankly speak, your method is very good and straight forward, provided students have to master the principle. I really like it very much. Accuracy and speed. Both factors that are most needed in ACCA exam. Students comment about messiness or confusion, maybe they are not truly understand the basic principle.
Proper people will act in proper way. I believe you will act wisely as what you did in teaching consolidation. Accuracy + Speed. Nothing much I can help you, at least I can give you some affirmation and supports...and a song. Be charged up.

DeleteWow..."asked to leave Kaplan?" This is outrageous. We, students in Sg, wish you kept on lecturing at Kaplan. Going back to M'sia coz your family is there is inevitable. But,it is such a loss to students as well as the school. We miss you, Mr Fang!

ReplyDeleteI know sometimes easier said than done, there will not possible for you if not affected by false rumours about yourself. But due to your professionalism, you chose to stays and teaches us again!!! You do know that you are great in what you do, you have assisted and educated numbers of Accountants in Asia!!! I must say, you did well!!!
I do benefit from your lecture, I should say I love to go to your class, I did not felt like dragging my body and my soul to your class, I love the mentality of you for making the students easy to understand, to learn, to adapt, and to excel in the exam!!! This is not just to sugarcoat you by telling you these, but to send you a message that you deserve better!!! Just ignore them and go on with your enjoyable career. If you love your job, you don't need to work anymore ;) Sound great, isn't it?
Take another step up the ladder and rise to meet the new challenges with all the power and personality you can muster.
However, I don't even want to know what is the false rumours about, I can judge that THEY ARE DEFINITELY YOUR COMPETITORS!!! They are threatened by your secret weapon, you had got many students, even more students would know you by 'mouth'!!! This is the testimonial and evidence that speaks louder than ANYTHING!!! Whoever has a brain would know what to believe, and what not to!
No matter what happened, they were waste of your precious time, you should believe in yourself and your students, they will know what truth is, no doubt!!!
Who cares what they said, at least I don't!!! Apparently, Kok Wan and all your students don't, they all wants to see you again like last night, happy and motivated! Then you will be the lecturer we respect and love forever...

Yep! A big fan of Michael but felt guilty becos I almost doubted him during the child molest case. Now I believe he didn't do it. He should have came out to defend like what I did.

Hi sir. I was your f7 student from kaplan singapore before u left. It was so sad heard that u r leaving. And i m taking others lecturer p2 for this semester. It's quite hard to understand his teaching. We would still prefer your method. It's straightforward and easier to understand. Btw, may i know that is there any changes for this semester syllabus from last time you gave us the p2 note?
